November Muse

November

"November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.

The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring."

Your mums are beautiful. I love mums. Forget how much I love them till mine are blooming which sends me to the greenhouse for more.

Hi Lona~~ Love the mums! Pink, ooh, la, la. The best thing about November is that it's one month closer to spring. :)

Beautiful colors, Lona! I love the first photo! The problem with mums, I find, is that there are too many new ones each year so it's hard to pick out which are worth planting. I would've definitely gotten this pale lavender...so pretty!

I love that poem. When I was a kid, my mom used to get Ideals, and they always had beautiful poems. This reminds me of a poem from their autumn issues! Beautiful!!
