I looked back into your last post and those skin welts look terrible. I puff up from mosquito bites, so I can just imagine what would happen if one of those little guys got hold of me.
On the positive side, I think that your Crape Myrtle is simply stunning! Your first dahlia image is also especially nice. I also like the fan flower. The original plant was gifted to me by my elderly Aunt over 20 years ago and now it has quite beautifully taken over an entire bed, mixed in with hydrangeas and ivy! It is a favorite of mine.
She did not garden by name, only what she wanted to grow!
Your blog is full of information and general notes of interest, but I especially love your quote above the comment form, lovely. n.xoNella Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07881520442347177012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3702367777217796558.post-17237210772611722212012-08-17T15:53:27.297-04:002012-08-17T15:53:27.297-04:00That's funny Lona, I just put up the same kind...That's funny Lona, I just put up the same kind of post, about how the better weather is helping the garden improve! My anemones aren't blooming yet but I did just buy a single pink one ~ looks a bit deeper color than your lovely shade. Hope it does well, I had to plant it in a different spot because the white ones are so aggressive they don't "allow" newcomers!
p.s. The tulips you were trying to locate on my blog ~ were they the doubles?? Maybe 'sensual touch' or 'charming beauty??' I think there was a double pink called 'foxtrot??' too?? I hope I'm remembering the names correctly. They are probably under my April posts which shouldn't be that hard to go thru since I haven't been blogging as much this year. Good luck ~ I hope you get some gorgeous ones.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3702367777217796558.post-75356655048195535622012-08-16T14:33:13.866-04:002012-08-16T14:33:13.866-04:00Lona girl I am so glad not to have had those beetl...Lona girl I am so glad not to have had those beetles .. yet ? .. my anemone have lots of nice buds on them so I am hoping to see some pretty flowers ..
