“The splendor of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not rob the little violet of it’s scent nor the daisy of its simple charm. If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness.”

One of my favorite little poems, thanks ! Gina
Dear Lona, With my love of all white flowers, I found this posting with its beautiful images absolutely captivating and totally magical. Perfection. Thank you.
And thank you so much for your very kind and thoughtful message which you left on my 'Explanatory Note'. I was most touched.
Lovely pure lily and great photos. I have lots of lilies but no white ones. Really admire yours.
Hi Lona,
Lovely photos, the Lily is stunning and the scent never fails to put a smile on my face!
Have a great week :)
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!
Have a nice evening!
You have definitely inspired me to get some white lilies. Those are lovely. I have red and a salmon but no whites. Those are Asiatic right?
The big box stores always have lilies about this time of year so white ones should not be too hard to find.

How beautiful is the Lily! That was my Grandmothers name.
Thank you for sharing them... :)
True, true. Those asiatics are simply pretty. I have white oriental 'Casa Blanca', but the asiatics are growing on me, too.
I really like your quote. It takes all kinds to make a garden.
lovely!

That lily is gorgeous. What an amazing photo!
Hi Lona. Beautiful flowers.
Beautiful photos, Lona... lovely lily. One of our favorite lilies is Casablanca with white on white.
Hope you are having a wonderful.
White lilies are so beautiful, but your photos show that the beauty is also in the smaller details of these pretty flowers.
Your lilies are blooming. The all white ones are very pretty! Mine will be awhile still, another one to look forward to.
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Matt 6:28-29
No lilies here yet, except for the daylily variety, but they are certainly trying! Been so busy lately, no time to garden, darn it. Whew!
