September’s Last Blooms

Today is a rainy day here in the hills. I cannot believe that September is all but gone. The leaves on the trees are starting to change colors and with all of the rain they should be beautiful this year if we can get some sun.
I took a very slow walk around the garden yesterday morning since I am still having a little vertigo. The garden was looking a little dismal.

The roses still have a few blooms  here and there but the black spot has been so bad and their leaves are all turning yellow and falling off, but I will enjoy these last roses of summer.

Anemones_Sept26 The Charlotte Anemone just keeps on blooming and the blooms are so welcome this time of the year.

LuckyStar_Echinacea_Sept26 The Lucky Star Echinacea decided to put on one small lone bloom. It has been such a heavy bloomer amongst the Echinacea's this year.

ToadLily_Sept26
The Toad Lilies are still blooming away.

FoxGlove_Sept26
A few of the Foxgloves are putting on a few little blooms here at the beginning of Fall.

BlueHill_Salvia_Sept26 I keep cutting off the Blue Hill Salvia and it keeps giving me some blooms.

The vertigo is leaving faster this time and I am so glad of it. Thanks for your concerns and prayers.

Sorry you are not feeling well.
This has been a bad year for my roses not with black spot but some kind of worm they eat the buds and leaf.We spray and they come back. If I see them I have been hand picking them off.

Szkoda, że coraz mniej kwiatów kwitnie w ogrodzie i dlatego cieszą nas te, które jeszcze kwitną. Życzę Ci, abyś przestała mieć zawroty głowy. Pozdrawiam bardzo serdecznie

OMG what is your secret to these marvelous seasonal backgrounds? They are so lovely!!!

Now let's get to the bottom of things. Vertigo? I have been reading your posts and maybe I'm blind but what is this and when did it set in? I'm worried about you, now, so please send me a note. I hope all is well.

Much love, Kate

Lona, your autumn roses are beautiful. You capture the most wonderful shade of red on that Crimson Bouquet. The Gruss an Aachen has such a lovely bloom.

Your images are glorious Lona. Vertigo... never knew what it was until a couple of months ago. So strange and so life challenging... and sooo not fun. I empathize with you. Stay positive.

Your autumn banner is so beautiful! Colorful leaves are (almost) worth seeing the summer end. I'm mentally making notes for next year's garden as I tend to chores.

Hoping the vertigo is soon gone, Lona!

Lona I sure hope you feel better soon!
I can't believe September is almost over either, it really flew by.
Your garden doesn't look dismal from the pictures. The flowers look so fresh.
I'm looking forward to all your fall pictures. You always have the prettiest views of all the leaves changing.

Lona, I am so sorry you aren't feeling well again. I hope this time it passes quickly and uneventfully.

I wish I'd taken the time to do a better job of deadheading my sage... I ignored it and it responded by going dormant.....

But that pelargonium is great! I love the variable colors on the peals.

Oh they are wonderful. So glad you were able to capture the beauty. Please take it easy with the vertigo. I had it at Christmas and it was awful. The doctor prescribed something that made it better though. Get well soon. The toadlilies and anemones are just awesome!
