I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful week. It has been a windy but mild week here and I was able to get out and get my hands dirty Wednesday with temps at 70 degrees. Got some beds cleaned up and some painting done and I felt terrific after playing outdoors.
Thanks to all of you who responded to my posting about the sad situation that Stuart is having with Blotanical now. I am hoping if we all prod him he will find a way to keep it going. I hope you all commented to him with your ideas. I am sure he will appreciate any input right now and support.
For Fertilizer Friday I am going to post the final pictures of the shrubs that were at the Central Ohio Home and Garden Show.
Wouldn’t you just love a column in your garden?
This azalea was just starting to bloom and it was a pretty peach-orange color.
This Pink azalea with the double blooms on it was lovely. The blooms looked like Fairy Rose blooms.
Yellow Forsythia was in several of the displays. The Black Elephant Ear really looked pretty with the the yellow blooms.
My daughter liked this Cascading Cherry Tree.
And many, many Hydrangeas.
This hydrangea (which I did not see a name for) had so many colors going on in the blooms it looked psychedelic.
Aging myself again.
And last but not least here is a Wolverine Latrine but I am not sure what that says about Michigan. LOL! It’s a college rivalry thing and I am sure there is an Ohio State Latrine out there somewhere in Michigan that outdoes this one.
Our friend Tootsie, aka Glenda, is the hostess of Fertilizer Friday and bless her ‘sole’ she is in the shoe store working today for Grammy and Grampy so we wish her luck.
With spring blooms coming on fast now we northerners will be able to enjoy and share more flower postings with her on Fridays soon.

I love white blooms in the garden, especially in the shade. It just pops. That pink double azalea is gorgeous. I imagine you were drooling through most of the show...what be if it was me! What great blooms.
I love that psychedelic hydrangea. It looks like a beautiful combination of pastels colors.
When I was in college I rode at a horse farm that had Grecian columns in one of the horse pastures. They really did look very nice! lol
It's so nice to see all those blooms knowing that it won't be long before they're blooming in our gardens.

I am just so happy to have the chance to visit here today!! Wouldn't it be wonderful if we all could tour each friday's flaunting gardens together and in person? I would love it!

The show looks wonderful... inreference to your comment about columns in the garden, I actually installed three a couple years back... while not as ornate as the one in your photo, they do add a lot and I really enjoy them! Larry

Hi Lona, it seems we have been going to garden shows there and here. We have a garden show here in Jan and an orchid show in March so i have been posting series of plants i've also shot at the show. I love that very white elegant azalea, because we don't have that, we at least have the very white bougainvillea. About Blotanical, i still have to read your older post, as i've not been going there often as i found it takes a long time to open. I was there later than you, and i found loyal blogger friends there too!

I love a good garden show! I would like to have a psychedelic hydrangea in my garden! Since hydrangea colors are often dependent on the soil ph, I wonder what sort of mixed up soil that hydrangea is growing in and if it would ever look the same in my garden!
About your previous post on blotanical - I just read it. I really love blotanical and hope it continues. I realize however, I had better be copying the links to all my faves!
The rhododendrons are gorgeous! Love the abundance of blooms on the bush. They must have looked wonderful from far and near as well. Have a great week Lona and enjoy the outdoors! I hope the new week will give lots of inspiration for your garden.
