Amorphophallus Konjac Araceae
The tuber is about 10 in. across, flattish round. The stalk is 15 to 30 in. long, brownish green spotted white. The blade is large with 3sections. The Peduncle is 2 foot long. The Spathe is about 8-12 inches long, ovate, and the tube about 3incheslong, pale green with greenish white spots, the margin is purplish,and the blade is 8 inches long that is green without and dark purple within.
This was the first time I had been able to see this lily up close.
Not the most attractive lily to be found but certainly one of the largest. It was quite impressive to look at.

Impressive indeed! I have to agree, there are some plants that are intersting, but not ones that I'd necessarily give up room for in my own garden...that's why they invented Botanical Gardens, right!?!

This is a unique feature! How lucky of you to have seen such an interesting plant! Being in the lawn maintenance Phoenix industry, it's not everyday that we see this type of plant. The plant kingdom is simply amazing!
