Well we had a couple of days of rain here in the Hocking Hills this week. We needed the water here after such a dry summer but it is coming at the time when some of the farmers are wanting to get their corn picked.
The leaves are changing so fast now and getting some beautiful colors in the leaves.
Today I want to introduce you all to another favorite rose in my Rose Garden.
Pink Flamingo is gracing me with a few more blooms to bow out for the growing season.
Pink Flamingo™ Grandiflora Rose is such a beautiful deep pink with a hint of salmon color. The color never fades on this rose. It’s also much more compact and ideal for a smaller garden or for use in a large container.
The 4-41/2" flower form is between a Classic Modern Rose and a Romantica style. The plant is very vigorous and upright.
It is hardy in zones 6-9.
It is disease resistant which is important here in humid Ohio.
Everyone have a wonderful weekend and…
Happy Gardening,
Lona

It almost looks like a peony. Hope it smells as great.

Such a lovely rose! How many different kinds of roses do you have in your garden?
Its a beautiful Rose Lona. I had hoped to add more, but no space, especially after removing a couple beds. Roses were one of the things to count on in this year's drought though.

This is a beautiful rose Lona. Love the color.....
What a beautiful shade of pink.
What a beauty, so perfectly formed...
And I love colors in your header, those are so eye catching.
Our zone is 5 or lower I think, so no beautiful rose for me...
But I can look at your pictures and dream.

Beautiful full bloom. I think your climate is ideal for roses, yours are so lovely.
Nice fall header and background...very pretty.
Fabulous Rose Lona, with that beautiful old fashioned form.
The colors are beautiful! That pink is lovely! We have been averaging some rain each week for the past few weeks. The plants love it.
Every time I see your roses, I say to myself, "I want that rose." And 'Pink Flamingo' is no exception. What a stunning color.
Do you think the cops would arrest me if I torched the neighbor's house and moved the fence so I could have me a rose garden like yours? Surely they'd understand, wouldn't they? :)
