Don’t you just love this time of the year when after the long grey winter the sun finally shines and warm breezes return once again?
Everything starts greening up with the April showers and daffodils brighten up the once dead and forlorn looking garden beds.
I have planted several varieties of Daffodils over the years and they never disappoint in having more blooms each year.
They bring a smile from just looking at them.
The world seems to look brighter and your heart gets lighter from just being out walking around in the gardens to see what is growing or blooming now.
They are all new to little Aspen so he is sniffing the blooms. Most likely to see if they are eatable. LOL!
By the way when they advertise pink blooming Daffodils they are really peach colored, but pretty none the less.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead and plenty of blooms in your gardens.
Happy Gardening,
Lona

Trudno nie kochać wiosny i cudownych żonkili, które masz w swoim ogrodzie. Pozdrawiam.
It's hard not to love spring daffodils and wonderful that you have in your garden. Yours.

I love this time of year too. New tiny discoveries, pretty blooms, seedlings emerging, it is all exciting.
Happy daffodil faces!!!
OHMYGSH, your garden looks wonderful. So bright and cheery, while I still have brown. Enjoy!!!
This is my favorite time of the year if only it would stay warm! Next weekend is cold again. In the 40s for us. Looks like it's going to be another winter into summer year:(
Lona, lovely daffodils, especially those with bright orange center!
I wait for watching them in my garden as well. Yesterday I saw first crocus, it was joy!
Have a nice week!
Yesterday we had our first warm breeze and it was so lovely to be able to spend all day in the garden, doing some work and just looking around and enjoying life. Nature is now really exploding after some showers and sunshine. You have a beautiful selection of Daffodils!
Pretty Spring blooms. Last year was too hot already and this year we can't seem to warm up and get everything growing.

You and me both, girl. I love spring. It's been rather chilly and rainy here the last several days but that doesn't stop the plants from growing. I love your daffies. They're so cheery and bright and exactly what we need after a LONG winter. :) Have a great week.
Lona girl hello there !!
I love daffs and mine are just peeking out of the soil now .. we had a warm sunny day and I have been working so hard cleaning up the garden I am crawling on the floor to bed now! LOL
But it was glorious and it does feel wonderful to whip the garden in shape to get ready for the season .. I just have to moan and groan a little with the aches and pains and then I'll get over it ?LOL .. I know you feel it too girl? haha .. take care and have a great week too!
Joy : )
Lona, you have the most cheerful Daffodils! These lovely blooms did put a smile on my face. Thank you! It's morning here now and today seems really promising. So glad I visited :-D You have a great day as well.
Fabulous range of Daffs, do you know the name of the last one pictured? The sun is also getting a little stronger here, not exactly warm breeze as yet but at least not freezing.
Lona, one of the best garden purchases i ever made was the grouping of 500 narcissus of different types that provide a continuous showing for nearly 2 months. They are stunning and happy flowers!
Don't we all love this time of year? Every day is a new adventure of blossoms to explore!
Ooh, I especially love your 'pink' daffs! Very cheerful. Happy spring!
I love your daffodils!
I miss all of my daffodils. I divied them up when I moved. They are scattered around to fellow gardeners. I need to get them to divide them so I can plant them this fall.
What I wouldn't do to see some spring cheer in my own garden right now Lona. This winter has been the longest ever. So many of my bulbs froze ~ never had that happen before. I'm waiting to see what happens now since it's new territory to me. I'm glad it's warm & sunny somewhere. Your daffodils are gorgeous. I hope I have some late ones still waiting to emerge. That would save the bulb season for me!
Have a great weekend. More snow for us on Monday. sob, sob, sob...
