While attending the Central Ohio Home
and Garden Show last week we also paid a
visit to the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus
Ohio. This is such a wonderful place to visit in the
winter to get an infusion of plants and gardening.

This was the first time we had visited the
Conservatory and we enjoyed walking through
looking at what all was there. On that day there
were two tours of school children touring through
and we wondered why our school's did not do this
for the school children. It is a wonderful place to learn
different climates such as the Himalayan Mountains,
Zen gardens, Tropical Rain Forest's and Pacific Island
and some of the plants that grow there.
There were many beautiful orchids growing.....
below palm trees.....
and hanging above your head in trees.
I am not sure what kind of bloom this was but
it was so beautiful.
There may have been snow outside but
indoors it was toasty and warm and steamy in the
Tropical display.

Blooms."
