The Garden At Night

Today is Fertilizer Friday hosted by Tootsie over at
"Tootsie Time", so join us and Flaunt Your Flower.

I drag my camera around with me quit a lot when I am
outdoors working in the garden or just relaxing and reading
a good book. You never know when that special shot will happen.
Just as evening is settling in and darkness is descending upon
the flower beds the flowers look so pretty and they have a
completely different look.
I have been collecting a few evening shots over the
summer while I was out enjoying the flowers.
So today I am going to flaunt my flowers in the night garden.

Happy Gardening Everyone and Flaunt Your Flowers!

Hi Lona~~ What a great idea. I'll have to give it a try. My favorite is the pink phlox but all the photos are nice.

Lona, there is something special about night shots- yours are very beautiful! They are so hard to get just right. I gave up with my silly camera, maybe some day I'll get that SLR camera :)- I'll keep dreaming!

What a great idea! It is fun seeing how different things look and smell when the sun goes down. Your phlox practically glow.

I rarely like the evening photos I take. Yours are lovely! If I ever mastered my camera, maybe it would be a different story.

Lovely photos at night, Lona! I especially like seeing the bluebird getting ready to take a drink. Maybe he thought he was alone...then he looked up and saw you! Sometimes the night can be a great time to capture interesting shots...and you've done a wonderful job!

Some of the flowers look rather surprised to be snapped during the night! It certainly gives them added impact against the dark background.

Really cool photos, Lona! Is that a sweet pea in the first/second photo? I have the same pink hollyhock in bloom. And I love the little yellow bird!

Love the night pictures, the colors seem so much vivid against the night sky. What is the name of the first picture flower?
