Friday Spring Blooms

It has been quite a while since I have had some flowers blooming in my garden to share for Fertilizer Friday with Tootsie at  “Tootsie Time”.

Fertilizer_Friday
With a few warm days and sunshine the garden beds are coming alive with new Spring blooms and I am a happy gardener.
So I am going to Flaunt a few of the flowers that are now in bloom.

Pulmonaria_Diana_April8

Pulmonaria Diana Clare has her first bloom open for Spring.

Brunnera_LookingGlass_April8

Brunnera Looking Glass is throwing on blooms before its leaves are even grown.

 Primrose_White_April8

The white primrose has more blooms now.

Pasque_Anemone2_Purple

The purple Pasque Anemone was hiding her blooms also against the April showers.

 Daffodil_White

The white daffodils look a little sad.

WoodlandDaffodils

But the new Trumpet Daffodils in the woodland bed look cheerful amongst the Iris, Tulips and Lilies that are growing very well now.
No tulips are open yet but maybe in a few days I will have a few open.

WoodlandDaffodils2

I love the new daffodils and cannot wait to see how they well fill out along the bed in years to come.

Flaunt your Spring blooms with us and

Happy Gardening,
Lona

Whooo hoooo! LOOK at all the treasures you have in bloom, Lona! That's just fantastic. And what's this about yellow squill? Must have. Must have. Must find out more.

Spring is slowly coming along here, and I do mean slowly, so you gave me a real boost of delight.

It's started and it looks like you're going to have a fabulous spring show. Love, love, love those Scillias. They are new and unfamiliar plants to me ... the peachy ones are so pretty.

Today has begun as another bright sunny day ... can't get enough of them right now, so it's time to head off into the garden!

You sure do have a lot of blooms to share! I love the shot of all the daffodils blooming, so pretty. I see your Tulip turkestanica is blooming too. There has to be a shorter name for them don't you think? :) Maybe turkey tulips? :)

Lona,

The photos are beautiful! You are ahead of me but this weekend should be quite a bloom opener, predicted 85 degrees on Sunday.

Love all the spring blooms! We are still waiting for the daffodils to open up in our yard. I have seen a few around the neighborhood, so ours shouldn't be much longer.
I'm looking forward to a season of beautiful blog entries from you. You have such a gift with flower gardening!

OMG I feel as if I got a whiff of Hyacinth fragrance while drooling over those gorgeous pics. You're a good month ahead of my bloom times so I guess I'll just hang out on your blog until the snow melts out here.
