We are still enjoying above average and record breaking warm temperatures here in Ohio. It has been beautiful and I spent time yesterday out in the flowerbeds cleaning out some of the weeds which have loved the warm weather too. Got a couple of clematis vines moved to better locations where they can get more sunlight. Also trimmed up the Crape Myrtle bush but I did not scalp it like some tend to do. Raked up many sticks from the storms.
Even fired up the grill. I love cooking outdoors on the grill.
Everything is growing so fast now in the flowerbeds and we are hoping all of this beautiful weather does not come back to bite us later with frozen fruit tree and flower shrub buds that are coming on now.
Everyone have a wonderful week and…

Happy Gardening,
Lona

All those orchids are beautiful. That's something I have never tried but a couple of times to no avail. Helen

Orchids are just so fascinating -- their colors, their shapes, their little faces (!). I love seeing them.

Gorgeous photos -- the orchids look like they were painted. Happy spring.

It's been a great weekend to be out in the garden - such nice weather.

Those Orchids are stunning! It would be awesome to be able to grow tropical flowers in the garden!
I have been enjoying the beautiful weather too. Hope it lasts!
We had some thunderstorms move through tonight.

Your pictures are so pretty. I love seeing all the different orchids. Do you grow orchids, Lona? I am trying, but they just sit there and do nothing. Healthy looking, no new leaves and no flowers :(

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, Lona, hoping that the weather gods are hearing us.

I love the orchids. At first I was like, Ooh that one is my favorite. Then I'd scroll to the next one and be like, Ooh, THAT one is my favorite...and so on. They're all just spectacular. What a fun outing it must have been.

Lona these orchids are super gorgeous! I love those with light pink and purple :-D The Franklin Park people did a good job. For some, I have not seen so many beautiful blooms on one stalk here myself here.

We're loving this warm weather too but I am so behind in getting gardens cleaned out! I've never had luck with Orchids - so I just admire them from afar.

Oh i haven't seen this post, good you visited mine and i was able to see the orchids. These are mostly temperate climate orchids but the Phals and the last one are tropicals. Did you smell the scent of that last? It is native to my country.
