The Gardening Grab Bag Drawing was so much
fun and there were so many entries. Seems like
a lot of people remember grab bags and how fun
they are.
I will let the winner reveal what is in the Gardening
Grab Bag because I would not want to spoil the surprise
of what may be in it before the winner sees it first.
And The Winner Is !!!
Congratulations Patsy over at The Smith’s Bennie & Patsy’s
Please email me your address and I will mail it right out.
The woods are greening up so fast now.
I have yet to see my first Hummingbird or Oriole
although I have nectar out for both.
This lone tulip decided to be late bloomer for me.
Since it never bloomed last spring and I was ready
to rip it out this year it was good it showed its little head.
It is much smaller than when it was newly planted.
It is suppose to be a black one but you can catch the
deep burgundy color of it in the sunlight.
Congrats again Patsy!
Happy Gardening Everyone !
Until Next Time, Lona

Hi Lona,
I spent some time studying the face of the cardinal, and could not figure out what it was thinking about. Great photo! Even though the tulip isn't black, it sure is a pretty color.
Have a great birthday!
Congratulations to the winner!
So, the secret to blooms is threatening the plants, huh? If that works I've got a climbing rose who needs a whole heap of threats! :)
