Favorite Places & Gardens in 2012, Part 1

Here are some shots to recap some of the beautiful gardens and sights from last year.

Tulip_Beauty

In February after a few months without gardening and flowers I attended the Home And Garden Show which was celebrating the bicentennial of Columbus the state capital.
I am certain by this February I will be fed up with winter and be in need  of a flower fix once more and ready to attend the Garden Show again.

All great photos. The Natural Bridge is a site to remember. Love the Laurels. So wanted to put some in here since they're evergreen but require acid soil and knew it would be wasted money and time. Monticello and Oak Ridge are both beautiful! Hope your New Year is just as wonderful.

Beautiful pictures of the places you visited last year. And indeed, when February has arrived and there is no ice and snow, I want spring!!!!!!
When we ever visit the US we have to choose of many places to visit.

Geez! Why did I come over here? You're making me so jealous! :)) Gorgeous pics. They warmed me up on this bitterly cold day. I want to live in Oak Ridge Mansion! Put in a good word for me, could you please?

Some great places to visit! It's always fun to see a garden show in the depths of winter, just to renew the garden juices! Loved your photos of the Shanandoah Valley.
