A sure sign that Spring has arrived is the changing
of the color on the feathers of the Gold Finch.
In the Fall they start turning gray and stay that
way throughout the Winter.
This is a picture of two feeding back in February
with their gray feathers.
Below is a picture of one from today that shows
that their feathers are starting to change into
the beautiful yellow that they will be throughout
the Summer.
