Hyacinths In Bloom

The Hyacinths are smaller this year. They
are either getting old or may need a good dose
of fertilizer. The colors are so much better than
my small camera shows here. They smell so
heavenly and add bright colors to the flower beds.
The tulips are about ready to burst forth and the
ground phlox is starting to bloom in areas where it
is receiving the good morning sunshine. The forsythia
bushes are blooming and the bright yellows just make
you want to smile to look at them. Spring is such a magical
time of the year, when the days of cold and cloudy-gloom
gives way as nature starts painting the hills with sunshine
in all of the colors of the rainbow.
