A Walk in the Garden

While walking through the garden beds this morning
the following flowers are now in bloom.
The Mimosa tree is flowering for the first time. It is
about six years old now and is loaded with bloom.
Remember to plant them away from walks, roofs,
and flower beds because the flowers can become very
messy. A larger on that overhung the garage and sidewalk
had to be chopped down because of clogging water eaves
and making a great mess on everything.

This new one stands off by its self and the airy pink
flowers which make it so beautiful can fall where they
may. The Hummingbirds and Bees just love the flowers.

This is a Petite Pink Monarda Bee Balm, is new to
the garden. It was planted last Spring but is just now
blooming this Summer. It is compact for edging and has
hot pink blooms that the bees, butterflies and hummingbirds
flock to.

I love the pink blanket flower! I thought all gaillardia was orange and yellow! Nice photos too.
