Looks as though I was not the only blogger in Ohio who saw the beautiful dawn of the New Year of 2009. Tom at The Ohio Nature Blog and Robin at Life in Robin's Nest saw the beautiful Ohio Skies.
Thanks so much for the blurb Lona! It was a lovely sunset, wasn't it? Have you ever been to Clifton Mills light show? Really pretty, but really? $16 bucks? Sheesh!
oh wow.. gorgeous colouring and skies.. I didn't see the dawn this morning - I hit the sack around 4am, and dawn here at the moment is around 7ish. No way i was going to be up after 3 hours sleep, not unless there's a turkey to cook.. *chortles*
lostlandscape:It was a beautiful start for the New Year here and who could resist taking pictures of this sky with red ribbons. Thank you for dropping by.

I am tempted to ask if you even went to bed after the night before.
But I would never ever be so cheeky.
LOL.
Absolutely beautiful shots, gorgeous color. We woke to more of the white stuff, again.......
No spectacular sunrise for us.

Jen: :D Yeah, this old lady was in bed by 1 a.m. Our white stuff has all melted away.
Robin: I have always wanted to see the light show at Clifton Mills. It looks spectacular in photos and on TV.Maybe one day.
Kethry: You needed to stay warm in bed after a late night.I saw it for you.
Gorgeous captures,Lona! It was a beautiful sunrise on the first, the sunset was not too bad either! Happy New Year!!
GOODNESS, those are gorgeous!
I missed you new year's sunrise on the day itself, but the photos are gorgeous still! May your 2009 be as spectacular as this sunrise!
