Giant Floating Flower Bed

I just do not think my house is quite big enough
for this hanging basket, but one can always dream.

This article was posted on my Google Reader
from Trend Hunter Magazine.

"The world's largest hanging basket has been created to
launch a new UK Hotel. Hotel Indigo, in London Paddington.
The giant structure is twenty feet wide, and ten feet deep,
weights over a quarter ton and hold over 100 different plants
and flowers."

For those who have not seen it, it is magnificent.

I can almost picture the building leaning under the weight of the thing. I would think maintenance would be an issue. I'll have to read the article. Interesting.

I am always complaining about how incredibly small my gardening space is..... I think I have found the solution. Talk about a garden in a basket..... this gives it a whole new perspective! Thanks for sharing with us!

Who needs to deal with clay and rocks when there's a huge hanging basket available--and I'm sure it comes with only the best quality soil/compost mix, all ready to plant!! I'll have to read about it!
