Ruby’s Country Cupboard

The daughter and I visited a small local business which
is nearby. Although it has been here a few years now
this was to be my first visit.

Rubys_Store4
Inside is the most beautiful prim decor and country items.
I have been and saw a lot of prim items but they had so many
new items that I had not saw before.
I saw beautiful tin ware, birdhouses, lamps, furniture
and painted items.
They also make their own candles.
Outside is some wonderful garden art items and some
whimsy for the garden too.
They also have jams and jellies, jewelry and signs.

Rubys_Store2

They  had stacks of fruit crates near one building
and of course now I wish I had grabbed up a couple.
But they are not far away so a return visit is in the future.

Rubys_Flowers

A little green house was made from windows and
if I had the room to haul it would have been in my garden.

Rubys_Greenhouse

It is currently occupied by a metal rooster.

AmongTheRoses2
I had been wanting a sign for my new rose garden
and had looked everywhere for the right one
so I was thrilled when I spotted this one and grabbed
it up real fast.

Rubys_Hibiscus

This Lord Baltimore Hibiscus was so large and
full of giant beautiful blooms.

Rubys_Lilies

This large bed of lilies was so gorgeous.

Rubys_Bugs

I fell in love with these metal bugs. They were so cute
and she had them in  three different sizes.
Wouldn’t that green one look good in the woodland bed?
I wonder if it chases away deer.

Rubys_Store3

So for all of you locals or Ohio  visitors to the Hocking
Hills State Parks stop by the store located at 16734 Route
#374about 2 miles west of the junction of Route #678.
Hours are Monday – Saturday 10am to 6 pm.
Sunday 11 am to 5 pm. Closed on Wednesdays.

Happy Gardening Everyone !!!

Great local business...so many neat things! I like the green bug too...looks too friendly, though. Definitely won't scare the deer away. I like your sign...nice choice!

What a charming place! I'm glad you found a sign for your rose garden. I think a bug or 2 might have made it home with me.... :)

Hey, I've seen that place before! We'll have to stop sometime. But with all this heat, we haven't felt like hiking down in the Hills lately, can you blame us? We'll certainly go in the fall. I can't resist the colors. I think you and I need to cut down on the amount of seeds we try to grow. System Fail! LOL I just won't tell you that I have more on order right now.

D'ya suppose that little green house would "work"? I wish I knew more about it/them...What seasons could it be used in zone 5? Could it possibly help winter plants??? (Or is it best for roosters?)

Rose garden sign is lovely! I'm glad you went to that place and showed it to us! We have a big nursery/garden store here for sale, and I am thinking where to get a money printing machine!
