In May

In May

"Yes, I will spend the livelong day
With Nature in this month of May;
And sit beneath the trees, and share
My bread with birds whose homes are there;
While cows lie down to eat, and sheep
Stand to their necks in grass so deep;
While birds do sing with all their might,
As though they felt the earth in flight."

Those are lovely photos and a beautiful setting. Wouldn't you just love to be able to go sit out everyday at your home and just look at this?

Isn't it nice to see everything so green. Love the birch trees wish they would grow better in our climate. We had an exciting day here in KC yesterday waiting to see if we were going to have any touchdowns. Our area of the city didn't even get much wind. We are so blessed to compared to others in the state. Have a wonderful weekend.

Such serene beauty. It's raining here in nw Ohio, but I'm thankful that it's just rain without hail, strong winds, or worse.

Lona,

This is just beautiful, certainly a better view than all of the storms we have had recently.

Lovely photos of a beautiful place. I bet these geese like this for a home. I especially like the third image. The bridge really makes the shot.

Lona, I had to sit down and look at these lovely photos (and rocks) a few more times before I go back out to attack weeds in the swamp where I garden. How lovely and peaceful and beautiful. You have perked me up for another go-round with the work around here. Thank you!

What a beautiful place Lona and beautiful photos as well. I'm usually sad when May is over but it's been so turbulent this spring, I'm actually looking forward to June (and hopefully some sunnier & calmer weather). Happy Memorial Day weekend! Hope you get some garden time.
