Every petal is different but they all are beautiful.
If there was one thing I would add to this rose it would be that the blooms stayed on longer.
It is a floribunda rose with dark green leathery leaves and a sweet spice aroma.
Although striped roses date back more than 100 years, Scentimental is the first striped rose to win the AARS award.
The 4-inch flowers have 25 to 30 petals
Disease resistant this rose reaches 4 feet in height.
I have had this rose for several years and it is among the favorites in my garden. It well give me additional blooms over the season after its first flush of blooms in the spring.
Happy Gardening,
Lona

That is beautiful. A couple of years ago I had a Zinnia striped up like that. I had bought a mixed pack so never learned the name of it.
You are inspiring me and I might buy one of these pretty roses with their red and white color splashes.
I like it very much so different.
Are these roses hard to find?
It is a beauty!
Thanks
Earlene
Lona, That is such a pretty floribunda rose. I can see why it is a favourite.
How wonderful! I've not seen this rose before...little peppermints floating above green leaves! I wish roses lasted longer too. My Livin Easy is on its second flush of blooms and I know they'll be gone before I know it.
My gosh I don't think I've ever seen these before, beautiful. Looks like buttercream with color swirling in!
Absolute perfection, Lona, as is all of your garden. It should be in a magazine!
These are among our most beloved roses in our garden. Never a garden visitor comes that they do not comment on these wonders. Yours are just beautiful.
Lona girl those roses are amazing!
Talk about visual IMPACT ! and to have a wonderful scent as well is perfect .. I would never have guessed that variety was that old .. it reminds me of something but I can't quite put my finger on it .. wait a minute .. vanilla ice cream with strawberry jam on it !!! LOL
