Friday in the Garden

Well the silly weather just keeps coming. We are under frost warning for tonight. Unheard of here after the 20th of May when everyone knows it is safe to get the tender annuals planted. Not this year though! Hopefully nothing will get damaged beyond repair. Kind of glad now that I have not got my containers planted now.

Geum “Red Dragon” is blooming and looking pretty now against the dark foliage of “Huskers Red” Penstemon.

Some of the Irises are starting to bloom but it looks like I am going to have a lot of no shows this spring.

I am joining in with Glenda over at “Tootsie Time” for Fertilizer Friday. Come join us in “Flaunting those Flowers”!

I wish everyone a safe weekend. I am afraid it is going to be a little cold here for the opening of the swimming pools at the parks.
Great weather for all those cookouts at least.

Just a reminder that my blog address has changed to:

Happy Gardening Everyone,

I sure am glad you are back! Your iris are fabulous girl! Don't you just love the month of May in the garden? Every day is amazing.

Lona, I hope your plants won't be damaged! This season's weather is weird everywhere, here and in Europe too. You do have some beautiful blooms! I remember your irises! I have only Dutch iris. I wish my tiarella would spread a bit.
Have a nice Memorial Day!

Hi Lona, I love your fairy garden area with the cool rocks and ferns. So pretty. I hope the weather wasn't too severe.

It's very windy and rainy here today. I hate to think what's happening to my garden. I'm going to ignore it for now. Ignorance is bliss. :)

Sometimes I plant so many things I simply forget WHAT they are. Thank you for reminding me of my Japanese ferns, I had no idea of their name.

What lovely blooms you have.

Thank you for letting me know of your new blog address. Is there a way to get notifications when you post something new? I don't see a followers thing, or a subscribe by email. Thought I would ask.

I hope you have a very nice week there in your wonderful gardens.

Hi Lona! I've never seen such an array of gorgeous roses anywhere except at Rodgers Gardens in Corona Del Mar here in Southern California...and even then, yours rivel them! Simply wonderful!
I saw so many I would love to have!
