The Road Less Traveled

The Ash Cave Fire Tower Road this Fall.
So peaceful and colorful and untraveled.

The Ash Cave Fire Tower Road this week.
Snow covered and the only thing traveling is the Wildlife.

The Oak leaves this Autumn in all of their splendor as they refuse to fall.

The Oak leaves this week still refusing to let go even with the
snows that have collected upon them.

What beautiful photos! I love the combination of "This was Fall" and "This is Winter". Really interesting to see the seasonal changes like this. Will you do spring and summer shots too?

So THAT's what a real oakleaf looks like! When I was posting about the Blue Oakleaf, I did wonder :)
The road in your first photo is so beautiful! Very serene, almost promising great beginnings just around the curve.
I do love the look of a snow-covered landscape. Such a pity that my tropical blood freezes up at 20*C !

Those are nice comparison/contrast pictures. I can't wait to see what it looks like in spring.

That looks like a nice place to enjoy either season.

Chris; I promised myself that I would go back in the Spring and Summer and take pictures of the same shots to compare. Thanks for dropping by.

Sunita; Yes it is areal Oak leaf, but I thought your Oak leaf butterfly was so gorgeous. I would not be able to stand the heat in your country so I guess we are both stuck.

Karen; I love pictures of old country roads also. Thank you for stopping by.

Susan;I will try to get some shots in the Spring. I hope there are some Dogwoods blooming and will see what else may be in bloom also.

Catherine; The scenery in my neighborhood is known for its beauty. It is a great place to live in the middle of so many State Parks. Thank you for stopping by.
